A 1991 expedition by amateur historians claimed to find decaying structures in the forest where Velenska once stood. But GPS anomalies and strange compass behavior forced them to retreat.

No birth or death certificates exist for the villagers past 1955. Regional archives cite ”natural dissolution due to migration”, yet locals say no moving trucks ever came, no goodbyes were said.
Even satellite scans show an unusual circular clearing where the village used to be—like nature itself avoids it.
